DZ Elevator Operator/Delivery Driver — $21.00-$23.00/hr

Our company Ltd. is hiring a full-time Elevator Operator / DZ Driver for its Dutton Branch. You'll split your time between branch work and local deliveries, handling fertilizer, crop protection products and grain for farmer-owners across the AGRIS market.

Pay

• $21.00-$23.00 per hour

• 40.0 expected hours per week

What you'll haul

• Fertilizer, crop protection products, grain and other farm inputs, delivered to farm-member owners in the AGRIS market area

What you'll do

• Take customer orders and see that they're filled safely, accurately and on time

• Load and unload fertilizer, crop protection products, grain and other inputs, following company and regulatory rules

• Run grain-handling, material-handling and other branch equipment

• Drive delivery trucks on scheduled customer runs

• Do pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, keep trucks clean, and help with routine maintenance

• Keep accurate shipping, receiving, delivery and inventory paperwork, and help with stock counts

• Hold onto any required licenses, permits and certificates, and follow Ontario's Highway Traffic Act and safe loading practices

• Pitch in on general labour, cleanup and seasonal site upkeep, following AGRIS health, safety and environmental guidelines

• Take on other fertilizer, crop protection and grain-related tasks as needed

Requirements

• Valid Ontario DZ license with a clean driving record

• Able to safely run trucks and material/grain-handling equipment (training provided where needed)

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather, including walking, climbing, loading and inspecting equipment

• Open to flexible and irregular hours, with longer days during busy agricultural seasons

• Willing to get and keep any needed licenses, permits or certificates (for example, pesticide or professional applicator credentials)

• Strong focus on customer service, safety, accuracy and working well with others

• Agriculture, grain handling, fertilizer or crop protection experience is a plus but not required
