DZ Driver — Airside Catering Delivery

Our company in Mississauga, ON is looking for a DZ driver to handle airside deliveries of catering trolleys and equipment to aircraft, with training provided toward airside credentials.

What you'll do

• Drive a heavy or light vehicle on roads and airside tracks, following traffic and safety rules

• Load, unload and deliver trolleys, cabinets and other galley items on schedule and per the galley plan

• Check quantities and conformity of items before loading, and secure cargo with bracing, padding or strapping and sealing material

• Sort freight before loading and unloading, and unload at designated zones

• Clean your vehicle and the dock area after each shift, and keep your work area and equipment tidy

• Complete required safety, security and HACCP paperwork

• Report any equipment issues to your supervisor

• Help train new drivers as needed

• Show up on time, in uniform, ready to work as part of a team

This role is part of a fast-track program, and the company covers training and costs to help you obtain your Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP) and Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).

Requirements

• Valid DZ license (a G license does not qualify for this job)

• Airside Driver's license (DA) preferred

• AVOP security pass preferred

• Clean driving record

• Able to pass airport security clearance

• Comfortable working outdoors in temperatures as low as minus 18°C (1°F)

• Able to lift and handle loads of 45 lbs (20 kg) or more
