DZ Delivery Truck Driver — $28.00-$35.00/hr

Our company is hiring a DZ driver who will also pitch in with warehouse work. You will handle local deliveries and pickups, and join a small team that values reliability and strong customer service.

Pay

• $28.00-$35.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• You may operate DZ-class or other commercial trucks depending on the day's needs, including straight trucks, flatbeds or roll-offs

• Loading, unloading and securing cargo so weight is distributed safely

• Preparing orders and helping out in the warehouse when needed

• Manually lifting material up to 50 lbs

What you'll do

• Run daily pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections, noting any issues

• Flag mechanical problems or safety concerns to the maintenance team right away

• Keep accurate logbooks or ELD records, plus delivery paperwork and incident reports

• Stay in contact with dispatch, supervisors, customers and site staff

• Keep your truck clean and in good working order

• Work as part of a team, and put in overtime when the job calls for it

Requirements

• Valid Ontario DZ driver's license in good standing, with a clean abstract (no major convictions, suspensions or unsafe driving patterns)

• Able to meet CVOR inspection standards for pre-trip, on-route and post-trip checks

• Eligible to work in Canada (citizenship, PR or valid work permit)

• 1-3 years of DZ driving experience, local, regional or industry-specific

• Comfortable with logbooks, ELDs and delivery documentation

• Strong customer service skills and willingness to learn new tasks
