About this job
Our company needs a DZ Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate for overnight shifts at their Distribution Centre at 7550 Tranmere Drive, Mississauga, ON. You'll split your time between driving branch transfers and helping out in the warehouse, split roughly 70/30 but it can shift depending on workload.

- Sunday to Thursday, overnight, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM
Pay
- From $24.00 per hour
What you'll do
On the driving side, you'll run overnight branch transfers in a company vehicle, loading and unloading materials carefully, checking delivery contents against packing slips before you leave and when you arrive, and securing loads so nothing shifts or gets damaged in transit. You'll drop off paperwork from the DC to branches each night, do a pre-trip inspection on your vehicle and flag any issues right away, keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy, and drive according to traffic laws and company safety rules, using proper PPE and lifting methods throughout.
In the warehouse, you'll help load trucks ahead of morning deliveries, secure freight for transport, and operate warehouse equipment and vehicles safely, all while following the site's quality and health and safety rules.
Requirements
- Valid DZ driver's licence (required)
- Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift licence, with at least 2 years' experience operating them (required)
- 1-2 years of driving experience preferred
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Well organized, detail-oriented and able to solve problems on the fly
- Comfortable working independently and self-motivated
- Able to reliably commute to or relocate near Mississauga, ON L5S 1S6
