About this job
Our company in London, ON is looking for a DZ driver to deliver insulation products to job sites and customer offices. You'll load, unload and handle some warehouse tasks, while keeping safety and customer service front and center.
What you'll do
- Follow a set delivery schedule, loading and unloading material at each stop
- Keep the truck in good shape with daily pre-trip checks and minor upkeep, flagging any mechanical issues to the Plant Manager
- Fill out daily logs and pre-trip inspection forms through the ELD system as required
- Handle delivery paperwork such as tickets, bills of lading, fuel receipts and trip reports, get customer signatures, and collect COD payments when needed
- Update the Plant Manager on anything that comes up at job sites so customers get a timely response
- Take on other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Valid DZ driver's license, kept current at all times per company and government rules
- At least three years behind the wheel of a straight truck
- Experience in a production or manufacturing setting is a plus
- A driving record that meets the company's insurance standards, maintained throughout your employment
