DZ Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $55,435–$65,000/yr

Our company needs a DZ driver in Bracebridge, ON for a local route where you sleep in your own bed every night. You'll run a 5- or 10-ton truck bringing gas products and hardgoods to area customers on a steady Monday-to-Friday day shift.

Pay

• $55,435 to $65,000 a year

Home time

• Home every day, working a standard daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week

What you'll haul

• Gas products and hardgoods, with hands-on loading and unloading of cylinders

• Equipment is a newer fleet kept in good condition

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 or DZ license with air brake endorsement

• 1 year behind the wheel with formal training, or 3 years of general driving experience

• High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent

• A clean record on your driving abstract

• Must be able to lift as much as 60 lbs

• A plus if you hold WHMIS/TDG certification or have worked with handheld scanning devices

Responsibilities

• Handle several stops a day across your assigned territory

• Keep cylinder load sheets and paperwork accurate

• Process deliveries and match up inventory using a handheld unit

• Stay compliant with safety rules and government regulations on the road
