About this job
Our company is looking for a DZ driver in Cambridge, ON to deliver industrial gas products and hardgoods to local customers. You'll work a steady Monday to Friday day shift and be home every night, driving newer, well-kept trucks.
Pay and schedule
- Annual pay ranges from $55,435 to $65,000, plus a pension plan
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, daytime hours
- Home every day

What you'll haul
- Gas products and hardgoods delivered to customers within your local area, using a 5- or 10-ton truck
- Multiple stops per day, loading and unloading cylinders by hand
- Tracking cylinder loads and daily records, and using a handheld device to log deliveries and check agent inventory counts
Requirements
- Valid Class 3 or DZ license with air brakes
- At least 1 year of driving experience if you completed a recognized driving school, or 3 years otherwise
- Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
- A clean driving record you can produce when requested
- Able to lift and move items up to 60 lbs
- Strong communication and people skills
- A plus if you know the gas or welding industry, have used handheld devices on the job, or hold WHMIS/TDG certification
