DZ Delivery Driver — $27.00–$29.00/hr

Our company in Toronto, ON is looking for a dependable driver to move sales and rental equipment, containers and office trailers to and from customer sites. You'll handle tractor-trailers and flatbeds, so safety and care on the road matter.

Pay

• $27.00-$29.00 per hour

• Full-time, with expected hours of 42.5 per week

What you'll do

• Drive tractor-trailers and flatbeds to deliver heavy equipment on scheduled routes

• Load and unload gear, using a forklift when available or by hand when needed

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to stay safe and compliant

• Keep records of deliveries, mileage, fuel use and vehicle upkeep

• Stay in touch with dispatch and teammates about routes, timing and any issues on the road

• Deal directly with customers in a courteous, professional way during drop-offs

• Help operate heavy equipment and support moving tasks when called on

Requirements

• Solid background in commercial driving, with a valid license suited to heavy haul equipment

• Comfort driving manual transmission is an asset

• Strong communication skills for working with customers and coworkers

• A team player who's focused on safety and reliable performance in a busy environment
