DZ Delivery Driver — $23.27–$27.45/hr

Drive a commercial vehicle to deliver building materials to customer job sites around Dorchester, ON, and help unload and place materials on site in all weather. This role involves physical labor along with driving.

• $23.27 to $27.45 per hour

What you'll haul

• Building materials delivered to job sites as directed by customers

What you'll do

• Drop off materials at the location the customer specifies

• Put safety first, for yourself and everyone around you

• Keep clear, professional communication with customers, coworkers and tradespeople on site

• Stay in touch with dispatch and help sort out problems as they come up

• Get trucks ready for reloading and lend a hand to warehouse staff

• Check that loads are secure and correct

• Represent the company well with staff and customers alike

• Stick to all rules, policies and procedures

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 / DZ license with a clean driving record

• Good written and verbal communication

• Comfortable with basic math

• Some basic hand tool skills

• High school completion is preferred

• Able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs

• Able to sit for extended periods and climb stairs frequently

• Able to push, pull, bend and twist while moving materials between the truck and job site
