About this job
Highland Packers is a Canadian-owned meat processing and distribution company serving the Stoney Creek, GTA and Golden Horseshoe area for over 60 years. They need a DZ-licensed driver to deliver and unload processed pork and other meat products across the Toronto, Hamilton and Niagara regions.
Pay
- Starting at $23.25 per hour, with overtime kicking in after 44 hours worked
- Quarterly safety bonus totaling $3,000 per year
Schedule
- Early start at 6am, working Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday
- Finish time varies depending on the day's route, no fixed end time
What you'll haul
- Pork products of varying weight classes along with other meat items, delivered to multiple stops
Requirements
- Valid DZ licence with a minimum of 3 years of verified commercial driving experience in that role
- Clean driving record
- Physically able to lift and carry items over 80 lbs and handle unloading
- Familiarity with the Toronto, Hamilton and Niagara areas is a plus
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
