DZ Delivery Driver — $21.00–$24.00/hr

Armorex (formerly our company) in London, Ontario needs a DZ delivery driver to move cleaning products and equipment between the warehouse and customers. You'll drive a 26' straight truck with air brakes and/or a van, handling loading, drop-offs and pickups while keeping customers happy.

Pay

• $21.00-$24.00 per hour, full-time

What you'll do

• Check delivery manifests each day for accuracy

• Plan routes that save time and fuel while hitting delivery targets

• Secure loads properly so nothing shifts or gets damaged in transit

• Do a daily circle check on the vehicle (using the Big Road app) to confirm everything mechanical and safety-related is in order

• Flag any customer concerns, mechanical issues or vehicle damage to management right away

• Keep the truck clean inside and out

• Take photos of completed deliveries for the customer service team

• Hand out Armorex flyers when needed

• Follow all traffic laws and keep the vehicle and its contents secure from theft

• Let management know about sales leads or potential new customers you come across

• Pitch in with overtime and warehouse tasks after deliveries and pickups are done

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract

• DZ license required

• At least 3 years of delivery driving experience

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work well with a team

• Able to lift heavy items and handle physical demands of the job

• Familiarity with the London, Ontario area helpful (deliveries run within about a 2 hour radius)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with a strong focus on safety

• Must pass a background check

• Must be eligible to work in Canada
