DZ/AZ Vac Truck Driver/Operator — $35–$39/hr

Our company needs a licensed vac truck driver who can also operate the dry vac equipment on job sites in Woodstock, ON. This is a full-time, permanent role, though hours can shift with construction demands.

Pay

• $35.00-$39.00 per hour

• Expect 30.0-60.0 hours per week depending on job needs

What you'll do

• Run a dry vac unit safely and professionally

• Keep the truck in good shape: washing, greasing, swapping filters and similar upkeep

• Flag any mechanical problems to your supervisor right away if you can't fix them yourself

• Fill out all logs and paperwork accurately, as required by law and company policy

• Handle physical tasks like heavy lifting, kneeling and crawling, often outdoors in rough weather, with some days running past 8 hours

Requirements

• Valid DZ or AZ license with a clean driving abstract

• At least 12 months of relevant driving experience

• At least 6 months of experience operating a standard 18-speed transmission

• Priority given to candidates with both driving and equipment-operating experience

• Must live within commuting distance

• Helpful but not mandatory: Working at Heights, Confined Space, Ground Disturbance, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, or Lockout Tagout certification
