About this job
Our company General Contractor Inc. needs Snow Plow Operators for winter road maintenance on municipal and highway routes. You'll run large combination plow and salter trucks out of yards in Newmarket, Vaughan, Mississauga and Brampton. This is seasonal work tied to winter storm activity.
What you'll do
- Run combination plow/salter trucks to clear snow and spread salt on city streets and highways
- Check your truck before and after each run and log your routes accurately
- Answer call-outs for snow and ice events any time, day or night
- Follow MTO and company safety rules while operating
Requirements
- Valid DZ or AZ license with a clean driving record
- Hands-on experience running large plow/salter trucks, not pickup-mounted plows
- Dependable, safety-minded, and ready to work on-call shifts whenever storms hit
