DZ/AZ Residential Waste Collection Driver

Our company is looking for a Residential Driver in Etobicoke, ON to run a Rear Pack truck on assigned neighborhood routes. You'll handle curbside waste and recycling pickup while keeping safety and service standards front and center.

What you'll do

• Drive a Rear Pack truck along your assigned residential routes

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections each day and fill out the required logs and paperwork

• Collect household waste and recycling on schedule, following safety rules

• Operate the hydraulic and compaction systems correctly to avoid damaging equipment

• Flag any mechanical issues, route hazards, or safety incidents to your supervisor right away

• Keep your route productive, your customer service solid, and your truck clean

• Follow traffic laws, local bylaws, company policies, and PPE requirements

• Coordinate with Helpers and Terminal Supervisors to keep daily operations running smoothly

• Take on other tasks as assigned by leadership

Requirements

• Valid DZ or AZ commercial driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience, or graduation from an accredited truck driving school

• Proven ability to safely run heavy collection vehicles and hydraulic packer systems

• Able to meet all company safety standards for safety-sensitive roles

• Good attendance history and willingness to work early morning starts and overtime as needed
