DZ/AZ Equipment Operator and Swing Driver — $35.31/h Guaranteed 9h

Our company is looking for a Hybrid Equipment Operator and Swing Driver in Kitchener, ON. You'll split your time between running heavy equipment at the recycling facility and driving collection trucks as needed.

What you'll do

• Run heavy equipment like front end loaders, skid steers, a cardboard baler and compactors to handle incoming recycled material

• Carry out regular equipment checks and upkeep

• Help improve safety and environmental practices on the job

• Drive roll-off, front-end and molok trucks when the business needs it

• Work with customers and coworkers to resolve service issues safely and responsibly

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 5AM to 2:30 PM. You need to be available for rotating statutory holidays, call-ins and possible overtime.

Pay

$35.31/h, with a guaranteed 9 hours per day.

Requirements

• At least 2 years running heavy equipment

• Valid DZ or AZ driver's license

• Clean driving record

• Solid understanding of how to operate and maintain heavy equipment

• Able to read, follow and enforce safety rules

• Must pass all pre-employment screening
