About this job
Our company is expanding and needs a 5 Ton truck driver for a new project in Vars, ON. You'll run a Monday to Friday schedule with a 3:30 am start, delivering goods safely while keeping customers happy.
Pay
- $28.00-$33.00 per hour
Schedule
- Full-time, permanent position
- Monday through Friday, starting at 3:30 am
What you'll do
- Drive commercial vehicles to get goods to their destinations on time
- Check your vehicle before and after each trip to stay safe and compliant
- Load and unload freight, including heavy lifting
- Run forklifts and other warehouse equipment when needed
- Keep accurate logs of mileage, fuel use and any incidents
- Stay in touch with dispatch, customers and coworkers to keep deliveries on track
- Follow traffic laws and the company's safe-driving rules
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license
- Commercial driving experience with a clean record preferred
- Able to lift and move heavy freight
- Warehouse and forklift experience is a plus
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Focused on safe driving at all times
- English required
