Dump Truck Driver — $30.00–$35.00/hr, Boston, MA

Our company Inc. in Boston, MA needs a dependable dump truck driver to pick up and haul away trash, furniture and construction debris from residential and commercial sites. You'll run between multiple properties each day, hauling loads to approved disposal sites while keeping the truck and your work safe and professional.

Pay

• $30.00-$35.00 per hour

• Extra bonus money may be offered depending on your safety record, output, reliability and company needs

What you'll haul

• Trash, furniture, construction debris and other materials collected from homes and businesses

• You'll load, secure and unload the materials, then deliver them to approved off-site disposal locations

• Expect to travel to several different properties over the course of a shift

Requirements

• Valid driver's license

• Clean, responsible driving history preferred

• Background in dump truck work, hauling, construction, delivery, landscaping or property maintenance is a plus

• Comfortable and capable of safely running a dump truck and moving bulky or heavy loads

• Able to bend, walk, climb, and occasionally run while lifting and carrying items in the 40-80 lb range

• Willing to work outside in all kinds of weather

• Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work solo or alongside a team while following safety guidelines

You'll also be expected to do routine pre-trip checks on the vehicle, flag any mechanical or safety concerns, keep the truck clean, track disposal paperwork, and pitch in on general property upkeep when asked.
