Dump Truck Driver — $25.00–$35.00/hr

Our company in Lilburn, GA is looking for a Dump Truck Driver to haul construction materials and debris between job sites. You'll run a manual-transmission dump truck, handle loading and unloading, and keep everything moving safely and on schedule.

Pay

• $25.00 to $35.00 per hour

• Expected hours: 35.0 to 45.0 per week

What you'll do

• Drive a manual-transmission dump truck to job sites, handling freight safely (including hazardous materials when the load calls for it)

• Load and unload cargo carefully to avoid damage or delays

• Use GPS to plan efficient routes while following DOT and FMCSA rules

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks on brakes, lights, tires and load securement

• Keep accurate logs of hours, cargo and routes per DOT requirements

• Work with dispatch to plan and coordinate your routes

Requirements

• Commercial driving experience, including loading and unloading freight

• Valid CDL; a Hazmat endorsement is a plus but not required, and the company is open to drivers willing to get certified

• Comfortable operating a manual-transmission truck in varied conditions

• Solid understanding of FMCSA and DOT safety rules, including those for hazardous materials

• Able to physically handle loading/unloading tasks and extended time on the road

• Strong GPS and route-planning skills
