Driver/Labourer

Our company in Toronto, ON is looking for a hands-on Driver/Labourer who can both drive and work on job sites. You'll haul materials and equipment with a flatbed/roll-off setup and pitch in with general labour at project locations.

Pay

• $27.00 to $30.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Roll-off trucks with bins and flatbed trailers, moving construction equipment like forklifts, scissor lifts and excavators plus general materials

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to deliver materials and gear to job sites

• Load, secure and unload cargo, including tarping and strapping

• Set up and break down job sites

• Help skilled trades and site crews with whatever's needed

• Complete daily circle checks and keep vehicles clean

• Dig, clean up, install materials and direct traffic when required

• Handle seasonal grounds work at the office (lawn care in summer, snow/salt in winter)

• Keep vehicle plates and safety certifications current

Requirements

• Valid AZ or DZ licence with a clean record

• Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs regularly

• 3 years driving airbrake roll-off trucks with bins and flatbeds

• 3 years experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts

• Solid understanding of construction equipment and materials

• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Clear communicator who follows instructions well
