Delivery Truck Driver — $24.23–$29.18/hr

You'll be behind the wheel moving freight safely from point to point, relying on route plans and GPS to get deliveries done and keep the supply chain moving. Depending on assignment, you could be handling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or standard tractor-trailers.

Pay

• $24.23 - $29.18 per hour

• Scheduled hours range from 21.0 to 40.0 per week

What you'll haul

• General freight, with possible assignments involving refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers

• Occasional hazardous materials or dangerous goods loads, where applicable regulations apply

Responsibilities

• Run delivery and over-the-road routes, adjusting safely as conditions change

• Load, unload, and secure cargo using proper handling techniques

• Check vehicles and freight before, during, and after each trip, logging any issues

• Stay compliant with DOT and FMCSA rules, including hazmat requirements when relevant

• Keep dispatch updated on delivery progress and route issues

Requirements

• Proper licensing and qualifications for the vehicle and route you're assigned

• Solid truck driving and route driving skills

• Comfortable operating a manual transmission when needed

• Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or hazmat is a plus but not required
