Delivery Driver — Windows & Glass — $25.00–$28.00/hr

Our company in North York, ON needs a dependable driver to deliver and pick up custom windows, doors and glass at job sites and supplier locations. You'll run a 26' flatbed truck on a Monday to Friday schedule, about 40 hours a week, with early starts and some extra hours as needed.

What you'll haul

• Windows, doors, glass and other building materials, picked up and dropped off at job sites, suppliers and vendors

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles safely on delivery and pickup runs

• Handle materials carefully during loading and unloading to avoid damage

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip and flag any problems to your supervisor

• Map out routes that keep deliveries on time and efficient

• Stay in touch with dispatch, warehouse staff and customers

• Keep accurate logs of deliveries, mileage and vehicle upkeep

• Pitch in on warehouse tasks between deliveries

• Follow traffic laws and the company's safety rules

Requirements

• Valid Ontario G driver's license

• Clean driving history with a solid safety record

• Must be a Canadian citizen

• Experience driving a 26' flatbed truck

• Delivery driving background is a plus, especially in glass or windows

• Able to lift and carry heavy loads, sometimes over 75 lbs

• Good organization and time management

• Professional, customer-focused attitude and appearance

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather, with lifting, bending and climbing into and out of the truck
