About this job
Our company is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner working out of the DOB7 warehouse, and it is hiring delivery drivers. You get a company van and a set schedule, delivering packages to customers on time and safely.
Pay and schedule
- $23.25 per hour, paid weekly
- Shift runs 11am to 9:30pm on a consistent schedule, with no on-demand fluctuations
- Start location: DOB7, 35 National Dr, Glastonbury, CT 06033
What you'll do
- Load and unload the delivery van
- Drive to customer addresses safely and follow all traffic laws
- Hand over packages politely and professionally, leaving them in a safe spot
- Keep the van clean and tidy
- Use a company phone for navigation, clocking in and out, and reaching dispatch
- Work outdoors in all kinds of weather
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- At least 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to lift and carry heavy packages
- Good customer service skills
- Pass a 4-panel drug screen (marijuana is not tested)
- Show up on time for every scheduled shift
