Delivery Driver — $18.50–$30.95/hr, Athens, GA

Join a FedEx delivery team in Athens, GA, ranked in the top 10% nationally with GOLD status. You'll drive set routes delivering products to retail stores, businesses and individual customers while keeping things running safely and on time.

What you'll do

• Drive trucks and other vehicles, following DOT rules

• Plan and run efficient routes, watching your time and fuel use

• Load and unload merchandise using proper lifting techniques

• Keep delivery logs, paperwork and inventory records up to date, and flag any problems right away

• Talk with customers professionally, offer extra products or services when it fits, and help with product placement at delivery stops

Pay

$18.50 to $30.95 per hour, paid every Friday. Expected hours are 35 to 50 per week.

Schedule

Day shift required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean record; commercial driving background preferred

• Solid understanding of traffic laws, route driving and DOT safety standards

• Basic math for pricing, inventory and transactions

• Strong communication skills for working with customers and your team

• Able to lift safely and handle physical demands of the job

• Retail or customer service experience is a plus

• Good organization and attention to detail when juggling multiple stops

• Must live within commuting distance of Athens, GA 30601
