About this job
Our company in Hammond, Ontario is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver to deliver insulation and building materials using a company 24-foot cube van.
What you'll haul
- Insulation products and building materials
- Deliveries across Ottawa and Prescott-Russell, with occasional runs to Western Quebec and Greater Montreal
Pay
- $20.00-$24.00 per hour
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, with early morning starts around 4:00 a.m.
What you'll do
- Drive and deliver materials safely and on time
- Load, secure, and unload heavy materials
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and keep the truck clean
- Help with warehouse shipping, receiving, and loading
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred (about 1 year)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- DZ Licence, forklift experience, and bilingual (English/French) skills are assets
