Courier Driver — Home-Based, Val-d'Or Area

Our company is looking for a courier to handle pick-up and delivery of packages along an assigned route. This is an interview position, and this specific opening is home-based out of Val-d'Or, Quebec.

What you'll do

• Pick up and drop off packages along your assigned route

• Confirm each shipment meets Federal Express Canada's service standards

• Handle related customer service tasks as you go

Pay

• Starting pay listed at $22.60 per hour, with another section of the posting citing $23.75

Location requirement

• You must live in or near Val-d'Or, Quebec

• French fluency is required, and you need to be able to communicate in English as well

• Quebec-based employees must be bilingual in French and English

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history

• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and move packages up to 150 lbs using the right equipment

• At least one year of customer-facing work experience is preferred

• Must pass the required pre-employment driver assessment

• Familiarity with our company Canada's operations and Canadian customs rules is a plus

• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Comfortable juggling multiple tasks under pressure

• Open to varying schedules, including holidays, as business needs require

• A valid license (such as Class 5, G, or 1/AZ) is required for driving roles, with no more than two violations or accidents on your record in the past 24 months; candidates are also evaluated on their driving abstract, interview performance and any driving assessments
