About this job
Our company is looking for a courier in Dryden, ON to handle pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route, check shipments for compliance with service standards, and support related customer needs. This is an interview position.
Pay
- Starts at $24.50 per hour
- $1,500 signing bonus
- Full-time
What you'll do
- Pick up and deliver packages along your assigned route
- Verify shipments meet Federal Express Canada service requirements
- Handle customer service tasks tied to your route
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (two or fewer violations or accidents in the past 24 months)
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs and move packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment
- One year of customer-facing work experience is preferred
- Must pass the required pre-placement driver assessment
- Familiarity with Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs rules is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- Comfortable multitasking under pressure
- Open to varying schedules, including holidays, based on business needs
- Must be able to work in a PC Windows environment and complete ongoing training and certifications
- Quebec residents must be bilingual in French and English
