About this job
Our company is hiring a courier in Kirkland Lake, ON to pick up and deliver packages on an assigned route. This role is an interview position, paying from $23.75 per hour. You'll check shipments for proper service compliance and handle related customer service duties.

What you'll do
- Pick up and drop off packages along your assigned route
- Confirm shipments meet our company Canada's service standards
- Handle customer service tasks tied to deliveries
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months)
- Able to lift 70 lbs and move packages up to 150 lbs using the right equipment
- One year of customer-facing work experience preferred
- Must pass the required pre-placement driver assessment
- Familiarity with our company Canada procedures and Canadian customs rules is a plus
- Strong communication, organization and time management skills
- Comfortable multitasking under pressure
- Open to varying schedules, shifts and holidays as business needs require
- Must be able to work in a PC Windows environment and complete ongoing training and certifications
- Bilingual (French and English) required for roles based in Quebec
- Candidates are evaluated on their driving record, interview performance and results of driver skills testing
