About this job
Our company Eastern Wisconsin is looking for a Class C delivery driver to run an assigned local route in Jackson, WI, delivering food products to regular customers and getting to know their needs along the way.
What you'll haul
- You'll deliver meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods and supplies to customer locations on your route
- You'll handle the unloading yourself, so expect to lift, push or move product averaging 40-60 pounds, sometimes up to 100 pounds
- A Class A or B license isn't required for this role, but if you happen to hold one, you may occasionally be asked to drive a tractor-trailer, which would mean meeting full DOT qualification standards
Schedule
- Most drivers in this role run the same route each day
Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Able to read and speak English well enough to talk with customers, understand road signs, answer official questions and fill out reports
- Valid Class C (standard operator) driver's license
