Class C Box Truck Driver — Home Daily, $21.43/hr

QCD is looking for a Class C box truck driver in San Antonio to run local delivery routes for restaurant customers. You'll be home every day, with no overnight trips.

What you'll do

• Drive a Class C straight box truck solo on local routes

• Pick up and deliver food products to restaurant customers

• Load and unload freight by hand using hand trucks or pallet jacks (fully touch freight)

• Do pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and turn in accurate paperwork

• Stay in contact with dispatch, store staff, and other drivers

• Handle returns and keep equipment and deliveries up to standard

Schedule

• Dispatch between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, home daily with no layovers

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of round-the-clock operations

• Trucks have lift gates, not ramps

Requirements

• Valid Class C license

• At least 1 year driving a box truck with touch freight delivery

• Able to lift between 5 and 75+ lbs repeatedly, stay on your feet for the shift, and work in coolers and freezers

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Able to read and speak English per DOT rules

• Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
