Class 5 Truck Driver — Part-Time, $30.00-$48.00/hr

Our company in Carvel, AB needs a part-time, casual driver to haul light commercial loads with a trailer. You'll move goods to clients and distribution centers while keeping safety and on-time delivery as top priorities. This is casual part-time work only, so please don't apply if you're looking for full-time hours.

Pay

• $30.00-$48.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive light trucks with trailers to deliver products on time

• Check your vehicle before and after each trip to confirm it's roadworthy

• Load and unload freight, including heavy items, following proper safety steps

• Map out efficient routes while obeying traffic and safety rules

• Log your deliveries, mileage, fuel use, and any maintenance concerns

• Stay in touch with dispatch and clients about delivery progress or problems

• Follow all required safety and compliance rules on the job

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 license with a clean record

• At least 3 years of experience driving large or light commercial trucks (needed for insurance purposes)

• Able to lift heavy freight during loading and unloading

• Solid understanding of traffic and transportation safety rules

• Comfortable spending long stretches of time driving and handling physical demands

• Dependable, with good communication skills and consistent schedule adherence

• Fluent in English
