Class 5 Delivery Driver — Building Materials

This role delivers building materials such as drywall to customer job sites around Calgary, AB, with physical labour involved in unloading in all weather conditions. You'll drive a truck requiring only a Class 5/G license.

Pay

• $21.83–$25.29 an hour

What you'll haul

• Building materials, delivered directly to customer sites

Responsibilities

• Transport materials safely to assigned locations

• Communicate with dispatch, customers and trade workers

• Help load and unload, and check that loads are secure and correct

• Represent the company professionally on every stop

Requirements

• Valid Class 5/G license with a clean driving record

• Comfortable with basic math and hand tools

• High school education preferred

• Able to lift up to 100 lbs, climb stairs often, and handle pushing, pulling, bending and twisting to move materials

• Background check, including criminal record and employment verification, required before starting
