Class 3 Onsite Refueling Truck Driver — $31–$33/hr

Castle Fuels is hiring an experienced onsite refueling truck driver for its Kelowna bulk plant. You report to the Operations Manager and deliver fuel and lubricants to customers in a well-maintained truck.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, with occasional stat holiday or weekend coverage.

• Start times depend on business needs and can be as early as 3:00 or 4:00 am.

• The posting lists the job both as full time and as part-time, permanent.

Pay

• $31.00 to $33.00 per hour.

• Hourly shift premiums and bonuses are part of the pay plan.

What you'll do

• Load, deliver and dispense fuel and lubricants safely and efficiently.

• Do a pre-trip inspection and complete inspection reports, logbooks and fuel receipts.

• Finish forms, checklists and reports on time.

• Keep the truck's reference and price books up to date.

• Follow safe loading and unloading procedures at each location.

• Run all equipment safely, cleanly and legally.

• Expect physical work: pulling hoses and maneuvering in all kinds of weather and situations.

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 licence with air endorsement, and comfort with an 18-speed manual.

• At least 3 years of tandem or tri-drive experience on Class 1 or 3, plus 3 years of mountain driving.

• Driver's abstract in good standing with ICBC.

• Physically fit, able to work independently and solve problems, with good customer service skills.

• Fuel experience is a definite asset; a criminal record check is preferred.

• You must be able to commute to or relocate to Kelowna before starting.
