Our company in Alberta is looking for an experienced winch truck driver to move equipment and materials to and from oil and gas job sites. You'll need a safety-first mindset and solid winch truck experience to join this growing crew.
Pay
- $50.00-$55.00 per hour
- Permanent, full-time position
What you'll do
- Operate a winch truck to haul equipment and materials between job sites
- Load, secure, haul and unload gear following company and industry rules
- Carry out pre-trip, post-trip and daily inspections on your equipment
- Keep logbooks, inspection records and other paperwork up to date
- Stay in contact with dispatch, supervisors and customers
- Follow all safety rules, regulations and company procedures
- Handle basic upkeep and flag any mechanical issues right away
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's licence
- Prior experience driving a winch truck is required
- Ability to drive standard transmission
- Clean driver's abstract
- Good understanding of load securement and transport regulations
- Comfortable working solo or alongside a team
- Physically able to handle the demands of the job
- Tickets like H2S Alive, First Aid or CSO are a plus, though not mandatory
