About this job
Our company needs a full-time Winch Tractor Driver at our Leduc, AB location. You'll haul drilling, completion, water management and production equipment for oil and gas customers across Western Canada, reporting to the Branch Manager.
What you'll do
- Inspect your truck and trailer before, during and after each trip, and complete the related paperwork
- Read and follow dispatch instructions and permits
- Load and unload oilfield rental equipment using the winch tractor
- Fill out truck tickets, hazard assessments and electronic log books
- Flag any equipment issues to the mechanics
- Keep your truck and trailer in good working order
- Plan your work efficiently on lease sites and deal with clients professionally
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's license plus required training certificates
- 3-5 years of winch tractor experience is an asset
- Heavy haul experience is an asset
- Familiarity with the oil and gas industry
- Valid CSO, Standard First Aid and H2S Alive are assets
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and make sound decisions
