Class 1 Winch/Bed Truck Driver — $42.00-$52.00/hr, 14 On/7 Off

SLH Picker Service & Pile Driving needs a Class 1 Winch/Bed Truck Driver for a permanent, full-time spot out of Wabasca, Alberta. You'll run flat deck loads for oilfield, forestry and civil clients on a steady year-round schedule.

Pay

• $42.00-$52.00 per hour

• Wabasca-based staff also get a daily LOA / job bonus, tied to safety performance, service quality and how well you look after the equipment

Schedule

• 14 days on, 7 days off, with shifts starting on Wednesday

What you'll haul

• Flat deck loads of various items for oilfield, forestry and civil clients

Camp and meals

• Since this is a remote site, SLH runs its own camp and covers accommodation and meals while you're on shift (breakfast, a bagged lunch and supper)

Requirements

• Class 1 licence

• At least 3 years of winch truck experience

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen

• Comfortable with the physical demands of the job, with a solid work ethic and positive attitude

• Able to run thorough pre-trip and post-trip checks, and inspect all rigging, flagging any problems to the operations supervisors or management

• Keep in contact with dispatch about your daily assignments

• Follow all client and legal rules on site

• Keep an accurate electronic logbook per federal rules

• Submit daily electronic field tickets, hazard assessments and near-miss reports

• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus, not a must
