Class 1 Truck Driver (Manual) — $21.00–$30.00/hr

Join a logistics company in Calgary, AB as a Class 1 truck driver, running local and long-distance freight routes on a manual-transmission rig. You'll handle loading, cargo security and basic vehicle upkeep while keeping deliveries on schedule and compliant with safety rules.

• $21.00 to $30.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Freight moved on local and long-haul routes using a Class 1 commercial truck

Responsibilities

• Drive safely on both local and long-distance runs

• Load and unload cargo, using a forklift or other equipment when needed

• Secure loads and check that weight is distributed properly

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Keep delivery paperwork and logs accurate

• Handle minor vehicle repairs or troubleshooting as needed

• Stay in contact with dispatch, warehouse staff and clients about schedules or delivery issues

• Follow traffic laws, safety procedures and company rules at all times

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license with manual transmission experience and a clean driving record

• Forklift or other heavy equipment experience preferred

• Familiarity with freight handling and safety procedures

• Basic automotive repair or troubleshooting skills are a plus

• Solid grasp of commercial driving and safety standards

• Clear communication skills and attention to detail

• Must be available for on-call weekend shifts
