Class 1 Truck Driver — Gravel & Frac Sand — $5,000-$15,000/Month

Our company, a small family-owned company near Stony Plain in Parkland County, is growing its transportation team and needs a dependable Class 1 driver for year-round work hauling aggregates and frac sand in dump trucks, quad wagons, belly dumps, and B-trains.

Pay

• $5,000.00-$15,000.00 per month

• Full-time position

What you'll haul

• Aggregates and frac sand on local and long-distance routes

• Equipment includes dump trucks, quad wagons, belly dumps, and B-trains

Schedule

• Flexible availability needed, including evenings, nights, and weekends

What you'll do

• Drive safely and efficiently on every delivery

• Fill out logbooks, bills of lading, field-level hazard assessments, timesheets, and other required paperwork

• Check your truck before and after each trip for safety and proper function

• Keep delivery records accurate and stay in touch with dispatch

• Handle basic upkeep and small repairs on your vehicle

• Follow traffic laws, safety rules, and company procedures at all times

• Help out in the yard, including washing trucks

• Run heavy equipment when needed for loading or yard tasks

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 commercial driver's license

• Clean 5-year commercial driving abstract

• Preferred: experience hauling frac sand or aggregates, running B-trains or quad wagons, driving off-road, winter driving, oilfield sites, or call/radio roads

• Current tickets for First Aid, CSO, H2S Alive, WHMIS, and TDG

• Physically able to chain up tires, clean out boxes, and lay poly sheets

• Helpful: background in heavy equipment or automotive repair

• Comfortable troubleshooting machinery and vehicle systems

• Familiarity with planning routes and following safety procedures on the job

• Mechanical or maintenance know-how is a plus

• Fluent English speaker

• Must pass a drug and alcohol test before starting and periodically afterward
