Class 1 Truck Driver (Air Brakes) — Camp Job, 3 Weeks On/1 Off

Our company, a Manitoba heavy construction contractor, needs a Class 1 driver with Air Brakes to haul materials and equipment to remote job sites, including winter and ice road routes. You'll work a camp-based rotation with accommodations provided where required.

Pay

• Starting at $26 per hour, based on your qualifications and experience

• Overtime pay available

• Travel per diem included

Schedule

• Rotational schedule: 3 weeks on, 1 week off

• 12-hour shifts

• Remote work location with camp housing provided where needed

• Must be willing to work extended hours and live in camp settings during rotations

What you'll haul

• Materials and equipment for heavy construction projects, including water and sewer infrastructure, treatment facility builds, crushing and road work across Northern Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario

• Low bed and end dump hauling experience is a plus

What you'll do

• Drive semi-trucks safely on varying roads and in all weather, including winter and ice conditions

• Perform pre-trip, post-trip and en-route inspections

• Load, haul and unload materials

• Keep logbooks and trip paperwork accurate and current

• Pitch in on general shop tasks when needed

• Follow company, provincial and site safety rules

• Stay in contact with logistics coordinators and site staff

• Keep your truck clean and flag mechanical problems right away

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license with Air Brakes endorsement

• Clean driver's abstract

• 5+ years of semi-truck driving experience preferred

• Winter or ice road driving experience is an asset

• Solid understanding of road safety rules

• Able to handle moderate to heavy lifting

• Comfortable working solo or alongside a team

• Dependable, on time and safety-minded

• Must be based in or willing to work in Manitoba
