Class 1 Truck Driver — $37.50/hr

Our company in Beaumont, AB needs a Class 1 truck driver to haul freight on various routes. You'll handle the truck, the paperwork and the loading, while keeping safety front and center.

What you'll do

• Drive Class 1 commercial trucks on short and long routes, following traffic laws and company rules

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks on brakes, lights, tires and other key systems

• Load and unload freight, using a forklift or other equipment when needed, and secure cargo properly

• Keep accurate paperwork: delivery logs, inspection reports and freight manifests

• Stay in touch with dispatch and clients about schedules and any issues on the road

• Handle basic troubleshooting or minor repairs to keep the truck running well

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving history

• Prior experience driving commercially, ideally in freight or logistics

• Familiarity with safety rules for heavy vehicles and freight handling

• Comfortable doing basic mechanical checks or fixes on trucks and equipment

• Organized, with close attention to detail for logs and inspections

Pay and schedule

• $37.50 per hour

• About 32 hours per week
