About this job
Our company is hiring experienced Class 1 team drivers for long haul runs out of Cornwall, ON. This multi-provincial carrier moves freight across Canada and the US for several Fortune 500 clients, running a newer, well-kept fleet.
What you'll haul
- Reefer and dry van trailers
- Long haul routes across Canada and the US
What you'll do
- Drive a Class 1 tractor-trailer unit
- Keep in touch with customers, dispatch, management and the safety team
- Keep your logbooks current and accurate
- Carry out pre-trip inspections and safety checks
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (AZ) driver's license
- Commercial abstract with 2 demerit points or fewer
- No license suspensions
- Clean criminal record
- Comfortable handling reefer and dry van trailers
