Class 1 Tanker Driver — Home Daily, $38.85/hr Base Pay

Our company is looking for Class 1 drivers to haul fuel and chemical loads out of the Ottawa terminal. Several runs are available, most with daily home time, plus one longer-haul option with US crossings.

Routes available

• Fuel run to Kingston: Sunday to Thursday night shift, home daily, slipseat

• Fuel run to Vankleek Hill: Sunday to Thursday night shift, home daily, slipseat

• Fuel run to Brockville: Tuesday to Sunday night shift, home daily, slipseat

• Chemical run out of Ottawa: Tuesday to Saturday, 5 days on the highway followed by 2 days off, includes US runs (FAST card required)

Pay

• Base rate: $34.00

• Premium: $1.90

• Good Operations Bonus (based on a 55-hour week): $0.99

• Attendance Bonus (based on 55 hours/week, 5.77% hourly equivalent for full attendance): $1.96

• Combined regular-hours pay: $38.85

• Add $2.35 per hour for shifts worked between 10 PM and 5 AM local time, and on weekends

• Overtime kicks in after 55 hours in a week

• Paid training at $29.45/hour for all new hires

• Monthly and yearly bonus programs on top of base pay

• Referral payouts of up to $2,000 per successful hire (conditions apply)

Requirements

• Class 1/AZ licence with at least 2 years of recent highway driving experience

• Super B, tanker, and off-road experience are strong assets

• Must pass an on-site drug and alcohol screen and a job abilities assessment

• Company covers the cost of your criminal record check
