About this job
Our company needs experienced Class 1 drivers to haul frac sand in Super B hoppers out of their Grande Prairie yard. This is sleeper-based long-haul work, so you don't have to relocate to Grande Prairie; you'll live wherever you want in Alberta and take your shifts and resets at the GP yard. The trucks are new and the freight runs year-round, not just in busy seasons.
What you'll haul
- Frac sand moved in Super B hoppers, on a rotating schedule
- A mix of highway miles plus lease roads and off-road site access
- You'll run Motive ELD, keep accurate logs and paperwork, and do thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, flagging defects early
Pay
You're paid 23% of the truck's revenue, so your earnings track directly with what you haul.
Home time
No need to move: drivers can be based anywhere in Alberta since this is sleeper work with resets taken at the Grande Prairie yard.

- Familiarity with Motive ELD, or ready to pick it up quickly

- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening under the company's safety policy
Benefits
- New trucks equipped with large sleepers, a fridge, microwave, and inverter
