About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A linehaul driver to run a dedicated route between North Salt Lake, UT and Wamsutter, WY, hauling doubles and returning home every day. Shifts run Monday through Friday, starting at 9:00pm, with weekends off.
Pay
- $0.80 per mile for doubles work
- Paid on a biweekly schedule
Home time
- Home daily with weekends off
What you'll haul
- Doubles trailer combinations on the 414-mile round trip between North Salt Lake and Wamsutter
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum age 21
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience
- No DUI or DWI convictions in the past 3 years
- No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
- Hazmat and tanker endorsements needed (or willingness to get them, with reimbursement for renewals)
- Doubles endorsement required
- Must pass a pre-employment driving skills assessment
- Able to repeatedly get in and out of the cab, lift up to 40 pounds over 20 feet, and handle hook-up tasks like raising landing gear, operating the fifth wheel, and attaching safety chains
