About this job
Our company is hiring Class 1 Shunt Drivers for their Calgary, AB yard. Both full-time and part-time permanent positions are available, hired directly by the company rather than through an agency.
Pay
- Starts at $22/hour
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
Schedule options
- Sunday to Thursday, 5 days/week: Sun 10:00am-6:00pm, Mon-Thurs 11:00pm-7:00am
- Monday to Friday, 5 days/week: Mon-Thurs 3:00pm-11:00pm, Fri 10:00am-6:00pm
- Friday and Saturday, 2 days/week: 2:30pm-10:30pm
What you'll do
- Operate the shunt truck in the yard
- Complete pre-trip inspections
- Move loads safely and efficiently
- Keep the truck clean and communicate with dispatch
Requirements
- Class 1 licence with at least 1 year of experience
- Shunt experience
- Clean driving abstract, CVOR, and background check
- Good backing up skills
- Must speak and communicate in English
