About this job
Our company is hiring experienced Class 1 drivers out of their Cornwall, ON location to run regional routes. This multi-provincial carrier hauls freight across Canada and the US for several Fortune 500 clients, using a new, well-maintained fleet.
Routes
- Cornwall to QC/NB
- Cornwall to GTA
What you'll do
- Drive a Class 1 tractor-trailer unit
- Stay in contact with customers, dispatch, managers and the safety team
- Keep your log books current and accurate
- Carry out pre-trip inspections and safety checks
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (AZ) license
- No more than 2 demerit points on your commercial abstract
- No license suspensions
- Clean criminal record
- Comfortable handling reefer and dry van trailers
