Class 1 Propane Delivery Driver — $35.00/hr Seasonal

Our company is staffing up for winter and looking for experienced propane delivery drivers to work out of Lacombe, AB. This is a full-time, seasonal position hauling propane across rural and industrial areas of Alberta and British Columbia.

Pay

• $35.00 per hour

• Tax-free daily subsistence pay

What you'll haul

• Propane deliveries to rural and industrial customers

• You'll run a tractor unit assigned just to you, not shared with other drivers

• Expect to spend significant time on the road, including sleeping in the truck's sleeper berth for extended stretches

Schedule

• Shifts can fall during the day or night

• Because delivery volume shifts with the season, your schedule will vary, but time off can be requested

• There's potential to stay on with the company long-term

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 and Class 3 licences

• Current 5-year driver's abstract

• Propane hauling or delivery experience is a plus

• Familiarity with Alberta's back roads is an asset

• Must clear a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen under a zero-tolerance policy

• First Aid, H2S Alive, and Common Safety Orientation certifications are assets, not mandatory

• Fluent in English, spoken and written

• Your own cell phone with data plan, plus a reliable way to get to the shop

• Comfortable with computers, since hours and deliveries are logged electronically
