About this job
Our company Ltd. in Kamloops, BC is looking for a hands-on lowbed driver to move heavy equipment safely to and from jobsites. You'll work with manual and hydraulic neck trailers across 7 to 10 axle setups, so solid lowbed background matters here.
Pay
- $40.00 to $45.00 per hour, full-time
Requirements
- Class 1 driver's licence, required
- You must already live in Kamloops, BC — no relocation applications accepted
- Clean, non-restricted driving abstract
- 5 to 10 years of relevant hauling experience
- Comfortable with manual and hydraulic neck operation
- Familiar with 7, 8, 9 and 10 axle configurations
- Understanding of legal weight and dimension limits
- Mechanically minded, comfortable with basic equipment upkeep
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work without close supervision
What you'll haul
Heavy equipment loaded and secured on lowbed trailers, including daily pre-trip and post-trip checks, minor troubleshooting, and routine maintenance tasks.
Nice to have
- Utility or civil construction site experience
- Experience working near active crews and jobsites
- Heavy equipment operating background (excavator, skidsteer, dozer)
- Dump truck experience
