Our company Ltd is hiring solo and team long haul truck drivers to move freight across Canada, with terminals from Surrey, BC to AB. This carrier has been operating since 2004 and serves major companies across North America.
Pay
- $5,000.00-$8,000.00 per month
What you'll haul
- Long distance freight delivery across Canada from major cities, using tractor trailers
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license (or equivalent CDL) with a clean driving record
- About 1 year of Canadian tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- Solid understanding of transportation rules and safety practices
- Comfortable working independently and managing time well
- Forklift or heavy equipment skills are a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Drive safely over long distances while following all traffic laws
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your equipment
- Keep accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and fuel use
- Stay in touch with dispatch about schedules and any issues
- Load and unload freight securely and deliver it on time
