Our company runs freight across Canada and the US for major companies, and is hiring Class 1 drivers for single and team positions on several lanes out of Edmonton.
Routes
- Edmonton to Yellowknife/Whitehorse (team)
- Edmonton to USA (team)
- Single driver covering AB, BC, SK, Yellowknife and Whitehorse
- Dedicated lane Edmonton to Prince George (3-2-3-2 schedule)
Pay
Pay is $5,529.48 to $8,000.00 per month, with competitive mileage rates paid through payroll.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 driver's license
- Clean driving abstract, no more than 2 demerits
- At least 1 year of highway tractor-trailer driving experience
- 6 months of mountain driving experience
- FAST Card is a plus for additional incentive
What you'll do
You'll operate a Class 1 semi-tractor trailer, keep accurate log books, perform pre-trip inspections and safety checks, and communicate with dispatch, management and safety staff. Loads are long haul full truckloads.
