Class 1 Local P&D Driver — $37.78/hr + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

Manitoulin Transport needs a Class 1 driver in Provost, AB to handle local pickups and deliveries. You'll cover routes through Provost, Kindersley, Consort and the surrounding area, working a Monday-to-Friday schedule starting at 6 AM, with some flexibility to meet customer needs.

Pay

• Starting wage of $37.78

• $5,000.00 sign-on bonus

What you'll haul

• Freight pickups and deliveries in and around Provost, Kindersley and Consort

What the job involves

• Pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks

• Dock work when needed

• Loading and securing freight for pickup and delivery

• Logging hours of service through an ELD

• Using a handheld device to note shortages, overages and damage, and to get signatures from consignees

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license

• At least 1 year of Class 1 delivery experience

• Dependable and reliable

• Familiarity with the local area is a plus

• Deck experience is a plus

• TDG, WHMIS or forklift experience is a plus

• Able to pass a criminal record check and provide a driver's abstract and 2 work-related references

• Candidates from outside the area must be willing to relocate to Provost
